Our Mission

The mission of Irvine Presbyterian Church (IPC) is to make disciples who make disciples.

To achieve our mission of discipleship, we prayerfully focus on these priorities:

Coming Into God's Presence

Be open to what God has to say to you. Be available.

And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me." ( Isaiah 6:8, ESV )

Cultivating the Mind of Christ

Study Scripture. Grow.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
( 2 Timothy 3:16-17, ESV )

Strengthening One Another in Christ

Pray. Share your talents. Worship together.

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach.
( Romans 12:6-7, ESV )

Sending in the Name of Christ

Let your life be your testimony. Be a witness. Make disciples.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
( Matthew 5:16, ESV )

We believe
in the greatest
epic story
of all stories.

The all-wise and holy God, the Creator of all things, gave humanity the supreme gift: the capacity for relationship and rule with Him. But we rebelled, bringing estrangement from God, conflict with others, and brokenness in our own souls. As His creatures, we are both loved and lost; we are made for Him but separated from Him. But that's not the end of the story.
