A Message from Pastor Scott

A group of ordinary people will walk the footsteps of Jesus through an abandoned mining camp turned into a squatter village and populated by neglected children; through the halls of an abandoned hotel converted into an orphanage; on a steep hillside teeming with the hungry faces of AIDS orphaned youngsters; and to a rural school endeavoring to give an education to the poorest of the poor.

A group of ordinary people will forsake comfort and career to walk in the footsteps of Jesus, to be a father to the fatherless, and to impart his hope with their hands and hearts. We believe in these men and women. They have taught us much about the way of Jesus and have still more to teach us. They are on a pilgrimage as disciples of Jesus and we desire to partner with them with our hands and hearts.

IPC is called on a pilgrimage to walk the footsteps of Jesus through Project Africa, to consider how we might become a father to the fatherless, encouraging our mission partners in South Africa and Swaziland to fulfill their vision to care for God's children. We believe that embarking on this pilgrimage will transform us as a community desiring to be disciples and to make disciples of Jesus.

Together, we can make a tremendous difference in someone's life. We hope you will consider joining us on this journey.

Pastor Scott
